If you are interested in starting a Group, there are 3 key positions that need to be filled. You can take on all 3 yourself or you can split the responsibilities up. We can assist you coordinating with others when starting your Group.
Group Key Leaders Task and Requirements:
1.) Host or Hostess
The host of hostess is in charge of providing a location for the Group to meet, whether that is in a home or another site. To host you are not responsible to teach or lead the Group.
The host should be warm and hospitable, providing a comfortable setting in which to study the Bible. They should also have a television with a VCR or a DVD player and know how to operate them.
2.) Leader
The leader deals with the administrative and logistical issues that each Group deals with each week.
All leaders must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be a MET member.They must be capable of handling details and be willing to participate in leadership meeting and training.
3.) Teacher
The teacher is responsible for leading the Group in the learning experience.
All teachers must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be a MET member. They must be capable of leading discussion and willing to participate in leadership meetings and training.
